Entrusted by the Ministry of Commerce of China and organized by HRC, Seminar on Electrification Mode Based on Clean Energy for BRI Countries was held successfully in Hangzhou from 6 to 26 September. 15 officials from 6 countries including Botswana, Egypt, Ethiopia, DPR Korea, Laos and Zimbabwe came to attend the seminar. Based on the concerted efforts of all lecturers, participants and HRC training team, this seminar achieved fruitful results. This is the 114th foreign-aid training program that HRC implemented since its establishment.
During the Seminar, lectures covering the topics of advanced technology and practical experience in the field of clean energy and electrification were delivered. Site visit to the world-famous Three Gorges Project, typical projects of biomass energy, wind power and solar energy, as well as some equipment manufacturers of renewable energy were arranged. Besides, visit to the city of Shanghai helped the participants to know better about the great achievements after the reform and opening-up policy. Meanwhile, a diversity of cultural activities enriched the participants' lives here in China. Furthermore, the representative from each country delivered country report respectively. Based on full communication and exchange of expertise in the filed of clean energy and electrification, an in-depth discussion on cooperation in the related field was made between officials and HRC staffs.
Mr. Xu Jincai, Director General of HRC, presented at the opening ceremony. Mr. Huang Jianping, Deputy Director General of HRC, presented at the closing ceremony and awarded the certificates to all the participants.
