Welcome to China South South Cooperation Network

China South-South Cooperation Network was established in 1995 based on over twenty research and training centers set up through UNDP and UNIDO Assistance Projects. With its Secretariat in China International Center for Economic and Technical Exchanges the Network, covering various thematic areas including agriculture, forestry, new energy, environmental protection, industrial development, etc., has greatly promoted the development of technical and economic cooperation among developing countries by providing consultancy services, sharing knowledge, organizing seminars and facilitating exchange visits. Through China South-South Cooperation Network platform, member institutions have the access to the seed money from Global South-South Development Center Project (Global SSDC Project), which is jointly launched by CICETE and UN Office for South-South Cooperation, and Pérez-Guerrero Trust Fund for South-South Cooperation (PGTF), which have been in operation for 37 years and has proven to be a useful mechanism for supporting SSC. In the past decades, member of China South-South Cooperation Network has successfully implemented 27 projects supported by Global SSDC Project and 58 projects supported by PGTF.
